Hope u dont mind razor im posting the entire thing form dobbermann´s site and more ive been busy
if u dont want this tell me and i will stop.
The name to the story is HALO:Prevention it´s based on the halo games and books its alot when u just started to read but i hope u like it...

SECTION 0:The Past
Prologue
Chapter one:
1838 hours March 3 2553 sol system planet earth.

I stood in attention when Lord Hood made his speech about the fallen warriors of earth in this bloody war.
For us the storm has passed the war is over.
I wasent paying attention to it.
I thought of my past in 2007 my friends,my family,my old home and job.
But that all changed the morning i was taken away from them for some military experiment.
Involving me being frozen in ice for 533 years.
The first humans ever frozen for that long to survive.
Any longer and i would have died.
It would have been better then to land in this new hell they called earth.
At war with aliens called the covenant.
Thank god i was not the only one in the project my best fried was in it to.
If it wasn't for him i would have shot myself, he kept me going.
He was standing next to me looking sad, he lost some friends in this war to.
A last gun salute for everyone who died in the war,we could go.
The only problem was i never had a home here when i was unfrozen me and my friend went to the UNSC 2 years training and then to war with those split face bastards.
But i am getting ahead of myself u probably don't know what i am talking about.
Let me begin the morning it all changed for me.


Chapter two:
1000 hours September 30 2007 sol system planet earth.

Nicky are u sill here?
U are late for work My mother told me.
I took the day off remember i am supposed to go to my old school for some shit.
O is that today sorry honey i forgot.
I need to go its a 20 minute drive to that place,i hope it´s worth it. I got out of my chair and got ready to leave.
Call me when u get back so i know when i need to make dinner. my mother yelled at me when i went out the door.
Sure ill do that don't worry. I yelled back.
I got on my bike and went to school.
To my surprise my best friend was there to.
Dion man hows it going. I called out from the doorway.
O im fine how are u haven't seen u in ages. He replyed.
Ive been busy with work u know that.
Yea i do but still is it that hard to call me once in a while to catch up?he asked me.
No but u know me when i work i put my hart in it i love my job.
Yea and thats not always a good thing when u forget your friends.
I don't forget my friends i was about to call u after this was over but it looks to me that i dont need to do that anymore.
If we go home after this is over u mean?he gave me a puzzling look.
What do you mean? If we get back?Now i threw him a puzzling look.

Well part of it.
Dion looked worried i never liked it when that happend that meant trouble.
ATENTION.
A voice yelled across the room.
A man in a military uniform came inside a sergeant by the looks of it.
This day will change all of u forever.

Chapter Three:
1030 hours September 30 2007 sol system planet earth.

I never understood why they took me but they did and i survived and so did 5 others.
We were the first in a series of test groups but we were also frozen for the longest time.
But lets get back to that day.
This day will be remembered by most of u.
U will be cloned and replaced u can never see your family again.
I thought so the moment the sergeant entered the room.
This would be a long day.
I never saw it coming.
U will then be frozen in a cryo tub for several years and see if u have the skills to survive.
If u don't u will freeze to death in the years to come.
There are now 30 of u i pray to god that u will all make it.
Yea right. I thought it but dint say it out loud.
I looked around, nobody made a move.
Good the sergeant started,
U all pased the first test, u didn't run away.
Follow me to the bus and head for your new home.
When i took a look at the bus it didn't look military, a cover up?
Looks like something top secret. Dion whispered.
Yea u worried?I asked.
Me? Hell no u know me i like a challenge.
Yea i do, the bigger the challenge is the better.
We all got on the bus and left for a place unknown to us at the time.
But we called that place home when we got there.

Chapter Four:
1500 Hours October 2 2007 sol system earth.

Its been 3 days and still no new info just rest and boredom.
They did clone us on day 1,It was strange looking at yourself.
We talked for a while everyone needed to do that to check if it was a perfect clone.
Mine was memories and all.
Sergeant on deck someone yelled, we all stood attention.
That was the first thing that they told us salute for your superiors .
At ease men, this is the day i talked about u are about to become the first men and women that frozen for years to come.
Follow me.
And we did to the huge command center all the way to the bottom floor.
We entered a room with 40 of those so called “cryo tubes”
One more thing the sergeant started,
If u enter the cryo tube with you clothes it is likely that your entire body will hurt like hell when u come out.
So u need to enter the tube naked.
Thats just perfect i thought naked with all these strangers.
But nobody protested.
Within 10 minutes we entered the cryo tubes.
Good luck... Those where the sergeants last words to us all.

Section 1:Awakening

Chapter five:
0930 hours 2 october 2540
sol system earth.

When in cryo i sometimes awakened from my endless dream.
But what i saw...
I feared the day that i would wake up.
Another world war that almost destroyed this bunker, and us.
Most of the time i was between life and death...
But finally after a eternity of sleep it got warmer i started to wake up...
Quick thaw them out now ensign.
Yes sir,But will they be alive?
I hope so...
Finaly u are here, did u get the clothes?
Yes sir its on route now.
Good...
Open the cryo tubes now.
Done its opening.
How many survived?
Six sir.
ONLY SIX?
We did forget the project after world war 3 we thought the bunker was gone.
Yes we did and now look at it, how long have they been in there?
More then 500 years sir.
It´s a miracle 6 survived.
Are u alright?A voice asked me.
I coughed and spat on the floor.
Thats normal for a person in cryo. The man explained the cryo stasis.
I looked around and saw 5 others they looked puzzled.
Oke but how long have we been in that thing?
More then 500 years. The man told me.
WHAT 500 YEARS.I yelled
HOW WHY WHAT WENT WRONG.
Calm down sir.
Why should i?I spoke with a daring tone in my voice.
If u don't we can detain u or worse execute u where u stand.
Well all least explain to me why we were frozen for 500 years i thought it was supposed to be for 5 years or so.
Well the world took a turn for the worst when u where frozen.
The ensign told me about the third world war and the destruction of the command center above they thought we died.
Until they saw a power beacon lit up in this place.
A warning that power was running out and that almost all of us died.
Who is left?I asked.
Well that would be u,Dion,Bakura,Melissa,Jake and Fred.
Well i think the original plan changed ey?
Yes sir.
Why do you call me sir im not in the military.
Now u are Private.
Well thats just perfect isn't it from one hell to another.
Your clothes sir take them and report for your first day of training. The ensign gave me a order strange...

Chapter six
1030 hours 2 October 2540
sol system earth

We got dressed and went up a set of stairs to get outside and get some fresh air, for the first time in 500 years.
Attention!Someone yelled.
Get in 1 line NOW soldiers MOVE IT!
We all did and looked at the new man that gave us orders.
From now on u are all privates if u like it or not!
A new man ordered us around.
I am Chief petty officer Fisher and i am your new trainer. He walked around us looking at us.
I hope u are up for two years of hard training.
U may not know it but u had subliminal training for the last 500 years in in that cry tube.
He stopped in front of me.
It´s time to crack that open and get your training out.
When i am done with u, u all will be stronger then normal marines or the ODST`s.
U will be spartan I soldiers.
Bakura raised his hand.
What is it son?The chief asked.
He lowered his hand again.
What is the concept of a spartan soldier?He asked.
U will be stronger and have faster reflexes then a normal human.
Nice. I thought that again never speak until spoken to was my motto.
But will have the normal protection of a marine not a spartan II.
I raised my hand.
Yes son?The chief looked at me.
Spartan II sir?
Yes they went a step further with the spartan concept,
Not many humans can handle that, lifelong training from the age of six...
Increased muscle and bone density a living hell for us and they have a special armor codenamed “MJOLNIR” that increases the reflexes and power even more.
But u will be almost as strong as they are now.
So lets start shall we...



Chapter seven
1100 hours 5 December 2542
Aboard the UNSC Minotaur headed for the Lamada system

More then two years have passed sinds i woke up again.
My training was over and now me and Dion where on our way to the planet Lamada III for
A mission against an alien empire called the covenant.
We hoped to get there before the covenant invaded and glassed the planet.
They took out almost every human colony and where on their way to reach.
I would rather die then not do anything.
Training made us hard as steel and stronger then ever...especially after the 500 years of rest.
Now we almost got no rest the only sleep i had in 2 weeks is 5 maybe 6 hours total.
We finally slowed down and got out of slipspace.
The alarm sounded thats not good.
ATENTION ALL HANDS WE ARE UNDER ATTACK BY A COVENANT FLEET
SPARTANS GET TO THE DROPPODS WE WILL DROP U IN 5 SO GET MOVING.
Let´s go!I told Dion.
We started running with our training we could easy run 20 maybe 25 kilometers an hour.
FASTER MAN!I was running behind something did not feel right.
But i shook the feeling off and followed Dion.
Left,Right straight,There they are the drop pods lets go.
3.....2........1....DROPPODS AWAY
We got in just in time.
SPARTANS WE HAVE NEW ORDERS THIS SHIP NEEDS TO ESCAPE U ARE ON YOUR OWN OUT THERE.
Rodger that sir. I replyed
We can pick u up again in 24 hours.
Stay alive that´s an order.
No problem sir. I heard Dion say that over the com.
I opened a private com to him.
Don't worry?Yea right we don't have unlimited bullets u know.
But we can take covenant weapons if we need to. He replyed.
Ok if we find them that is.
No problem the planet is infested with them...o shit better hang on anti-air turrets.

Chapter eight
1400 hours 5 December 2542
Lambda system planet lambada III

Aw my body hurts shit those turrets got us good. I stood up and looked around the crash site.
No covenant yet thats a plus my MA5B is busted broken in half when we crashed.
Now we need to find replacement weapons. Dion looked around.
I think there was a base on this planet not so far from our position.
Lets move we are running out of time.
We ran for 2 hours before we reached the bunker.
Two marines waited at the gate or what was left of it anyway.
Who are u two supposed to be?The marine corporal asked.
Chief petty officer second class Nicky and Dion reporting for duty.
My apologies sir i did not know who you are or that u where on this planet.
We just arrived here corporal in drop pods.
Whats your status?Dion asked and looked around for targets.
The covenant invaded at 1000 hours this morning tool out the main base first we held them off in this small camp but we took heavy losses.
We are getting u and the survivors off this rock in 21 hours thats when pick-up arives if it goes according as planed.
We need to stay alive and take out as many of those covenant bastards as we can.
Sir yes sir.
But first we need weapons and ammo the drop was harder then we expected.
Follow me to the armory sir.
The camp was a ruin the medical tent was gone no medical supplies to treat wounds
The guard towers where blow out of the ground no reckon from those towers.
We have a slim chance of survival in this camp....
We got to a small tent.
Here it is sirs the armory.
Thanks corporal.
The spartans entered the tent and found that the suplies are worse then they thought.
Only 2 MA5B´s left a dozen clips seven plasma grenades and 4 frag grenades
1 shotgun and a handful of shells and 2 HE pistols and 5 clips.
I got dibs on the shotgun. I told Dion.
No problem i love to dual wield pistols.
Hmm right whatever just hit them not like this first time u tried to dual wield.
That was when we started training that was two years ago.
I know i love to tease u with it. I laughed.
Hey should i remind u what happind the first time u wielded a shotgun he?
No thanks. We both laughed.
Ok now lets get serious. I told him
We need to rally all the marines to prepare for a covenant assault from the front.
Poor bastards will never know what hit them.
I shoved a clip in the MA5B and the ammo counter reseted to 60.
Lets go.

Chapter nine
2330 hours 5 December 2542
marine camp planet lambada III

No attacks yet strange the covenant know we are here.
Nicky opened a private com to Dion.
Hey get to my position for briefing.
His light pinged on my screen meaning he heard me and was on his way.
He came around the corner running at a slow paste just to show off to the marines posted here that he was faster then them.
He stopped in front of me saluting.
Please stop showing off to the marines it makes them feel bad.
Sorry sir wont do it again.
Nicky returned the salute.
As u know the covenant haven't attacked us yet but that doesn´t mean we will stand down.
No sir of course not.
But thats not the main reason i called u here.

Did u see something odd about the marines here in this camp when we first came here?
Well they weren't happy to see us thats for sure.
Yes u think they are traitors to humanity gave something to the covenant so they could live on?

Nicky turned around and looked down to the ground.

A slipspace field opened above the planet a human cruiser they were to early.
SPARTANS DO YOU READ ME?
THIS IS CAPTAIN GILBERT OF THE CRUISER Minotaur change of plans we need to move NOW.

U are standing on it chief pelican inbound.
Ok listen up marines incoming pelican we are getting out of here.
They looking in the sky and saw the pelican inbound.
It landed just outside the camp.
Lets move soldiers.
They all runned to the pelican and entered.
Move this tub pilot.
Aye aye chief.
They took off and the blast door shutted with a loud THUMB sound.
The pelican boarded the cruiser and they exited to slipspace.
When the pelican landed nicky made his way to the bridge.
He saw the captain at his chair and headed for him.
He saluted
Sir reporting as ordered.
Good to see u chief.
He returned the salute.
Captain what went wrong to extract so early?
Sorry for the fast grab chief we needed u alive and we had a report that the covenant where going to glass the planet before the normal extraction.
Now get to cryo we have a long journey ahead...

Section 2:Attack on Sigma OctanusIV

CHAPTER TEN
2552 18 july 1700 hours
Sigma octanus IV

The ground was shaking a covenant invasion force was close by.
Dion don't do anything we don't have a chance against that kind of force.
His light flashed to let nicky know he heard him.
The com went on and dion´s voice came in.
Do i need to remind u who saved who´s ass on Jericho VII?
Ugh don´t i whenever i think about that nightmare i can´t focus anymore. The chief replyed
I know what u mean lets hope it never hapins again.
Not on that planet it wont. The chief told dion and went of the com.
Chief 3 grunts breaking of the main group heading your way. Dion told him.
I see em don't worry i can take em out no sweat. He told dion.
The grunts where relaxed not even looking around the had plasma pistols but not ready to fire yet.
The chief layed low letting the grunts pass by his position.
He checked his MA5B assault rifle with silencer.
He fired 3 shots not heard by anyone with the silencer and 3 grunts went down for the count.
ANYONE HEAR ME THIS IS CORPORAL DEAN FROM FIREBASE BRAVO!
The com went on.
Yes corporal this is master chief spartan nicky what do you need?
Sir the covenant have found our base and are murdering everyone here without mercy.
Then get your men out that outpost ASAP.
We cant we are cut off from the main force please help us.
A explosion roared over the com.

Yea maybe but what about the other spartans they where in that base.
It´s save to say they are all dead. The chief told dion without hesitation.
Lets´s go we have a long way to go. Nicky out.
Ok lets find that base and hope to god it´s still intact.
The chief got up and out of his hiding spot.
No enemy´s yet to bad he was looking forward to go hand to hand with one of them elites.
He checked his map the base was only 10 kilometers away practically next door.
But the covenant where in this area so he had to move slow it would take no more then one hour to get there.
Half an hour passed without contacts.
The chief checked his map again almost there he told himself.
Dion this is nicky what is your current location?
Im at the camp sir and waiting for u.
Roger im almost at the camp don't shoot me this time ok?
Don't worry my aim is better then the last op. Dion out.
The chief heard a sound behind him.
He drew his side arm and turned around aiming at an elite.
The elite hitted the pistol out of nicky´s hands but got a kick in the face from him.
The chief´s training kicked in and he punched the elite in his face, taking his head and snapping it´s neck.
Elites where never alone he ran towards the camp...
Or what was left of it anyway.
A pelican descended and a dozen figures marched out.
SPARTAN II`s the best the army had to offer.
The leader the one know as john 117 looked at the corporal in charge and told him”We´ve come to take sigma octanus four back back from the covenant,corporal.His voice was calm almost to calm to be human.
To do that we´re going to kill every last one of them...




Chapter eleven
2552 1800 hours 18 july
sigma octanus IV

John 117 headed for Nicky.
You are a SPARTAN I aren't u?He asked.
Yes i am one of the last alive that guy over there...he pointed to dion
he is a SPARTAN to.
What happind to the rest of them?Nicky dint see the chiefs face but he knew that the chief was worried... but why the SPARTAN I's weren't his soldiers.
We l lost contacted them in firebease bravo but it was destroyed shorty after that we fear that they are all KIA.
Im sorry to hear that. There was a sense of compassion in his voice it was like one of his spartans died not nicky´s spartans.
So how are u going to take the planet back sir?Nicky asked
Sir? We have the same rank u don't have to call me sir.
U are a spartan II and i am a SPARTAN I u outrank me sir.
Ok then if it makes u feel better.
Our mission is to scout on what the covenant are doing in Côte d´Azur and to put a nuke in he city if there are no survivors.

Protect this outpost if the pelican is destroyed we will be stuck here and that would be bad if the covenant glass the planet.

The chief returned his salute.
Now fall out and protect this place in the meanwhile me and my spartans will go to the city and look for survivors civilian and military especially spartan I´s.

The spartans where formed into three groups and left all heading for Côte d´Azur but using a different route.
Sir i see grunts incoming we need some help over here. A marine yelled.
Nicky looked just when he got hit with a purple crystal shard and the his torso exploded.
What the fuck was that?dion yelled over the com.
A new weapon use those sniper skills or we are done for i will help the marines.
They just keep coming sir!The marine panicked at the sight of the grunt coming to kill them.
Keep shooting if they reach the pelican its over.
DUCK!Nicky heard on the radio and he did duck.
A grunt trying to shoot him from the side was shot in the face by dion.
Another dead grunt but 2 came in it´s place.
Don't give up keep shooting!Nicky yelled.
He was surrounded by grunts hundreds of them.
A marine panicked a got a jackhammer launcher.
FIRE NOW I DONT CARE IF I DIE JUST SHOOT END THIS! Nicky barked the order at the marine and he fired....
The chief felt pain like never before.
He heard voices...Get him to the pelican NOW.....Whats keeping the spartans....
He wont make it......we are loosing him....

Chapter twelve
2552 0600 hours august 30 aboard pillar of autumn
unknown system heading unknown.

He is waking up sir.
Nicky heard unknown voices and felt pain like never before.
But that was a good thing it meant he was still alive.
He opened his eyes and saw some navy doctors and the remaining Spartan I`s
Only he dion and bakura survived sigma octanus IV.
But he knew it was a close call or he would not be here.
So how do you feel son? He looked who it was and saw a captain.
Captain keyes.
Im fine sir just need a workout at reach im long overdue for that.
The captain looked sad and started talking.
Son reach is gone the covenant glassed it.
WHAT. Nicky jumped out of the bed alert and awake.
What day is it today sir?
Its august 30 we are in slipspace to a random heading the barely made it away from reach.
I’ve been in a coma for that long? He felt like he disappointed everyone of them.
I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to help sir. He saluted.
Don’t be sorry chief it wasn’t your fault. He returned the salute.
Im needed in the bridge get your gear and get ready just in case the covenant are following us.
Sir yes sir. He turned to the other Spartan I's.
So what have I missed? He asked.
A lot like the captain told u reach is gone we got u the hell out of there u where in the reach hospital at the time of the attack.

We took a pelican and a handful of survivors and got u out.
After a few hours we jumped out of the system and then u woke up that’s it.
Yea right u must have had some of the action in all the time I was in a coma.
Not as mutch as u would think. The covenant where taking it easy after sigma octanus.
We only had 1 op after that. But I think we will have more action now that u are back and the covenant are after us. Lets get our gear and head for the life pods just in case there are boarding parties.
It took the Spartans some time before they made it to the armory the ship was huge and was easy to get lost in.
The ship slowed down.
Hmm we exited slipspace. Nicky told the others.
Yea and feels like the covenant found us again.
The ship shook and took more damage.
Nicky slapped a fresh clip in his MA5B.
Lets move. He told the other Spartans.




Chapter thirteen
2552 0700 hours aboard pillar of autumn
unknown system heading unknown.

Prepare to repel boarders. The captains voice sounded of the speakers.
Ok boys lets do what the captain told us to do and that’s to repel all boarders.
Marines repel boarders until ops personal are away keyes out.
Looks like we are leaving this ship. Dion started.
We leave when ops personal left, lets go defend us a lifeboat. Nicky ordered.
Sir yes sir. The Spartans replyed.
The main corridor for the lifeboats was full with ops personal and marines.
Move move get to that ring world and get to the fallback point.
Yes sirs. The personal replyed.
After 15 minutes all of the personal was gone and the corridor was clear of all obstacles.
Ok now we can leave this flying deathtrap. Nicky told the Spartans.
Wait up what’s that? Dion pointed out in space.
A covenant lifeboat? Nicky guest.
It connected with the pillar of autumn right next to the lifeboat of the Spartans.
Get ready take cover and shoot on sight. Nicky ordered.
Yes sir. The Spartans took formation and took cover behind a peace of broken pillar of the ship.
The door blasted open and 5 grunts 3 jackals and 2 red elites came out of the ship.
Fire on the grunts first then the elites use a grenade for the jackals on my mark…
Mark.
Five shots and five grunts went down from headshots.
A grenade flew behind the jackals and exploded with a hard bang the elites shield generators failed.
Three shots and the elites went down like it was nothing.
But something two more soldiers came out of the ship.
HUNTERS SPARTANS FALL BACK NOW. Nicky yelled.
The hunters looked and saw the Spartans it hided behind his shield and its fuel rod gun glowed green meaning it was ready to fire.
RUN NOW. Nicky yelled again.
It shot before bakura could move and a crater was left where he stood.
SON OF A BITCH NOOOOOOOOOOOO. Nicky yelled.
TAKE THOSE BASTERDS OUT DION USE YOUR ROCKED LANCHER ON THOSE BASTERDS TAKE EM OUT.
YES SIR. Dion yelled in the carnage.
Two rockets flew and found their targets blowing the hunters apart.
Lets get in the lifeboat and get the hell out of here and lets hope we don’t find anymore hunters.
Yes sir.
They enterd the dropship, a pilot was running trough the hall and enterd the ship, straped on.
Wait up i aint dead yet.Bakura yelled.
Thank god get in man. Nicky yelled.
Bakura enterd and straped on.
The dropship blew away from the ship and started to decend to the ring world.

Section 3:HALO

Chapter fourteen
2552 time/date error
unknown system/location.

The dropship is descending to fast. The pilot yelled.
Try to slow it down if we land to hard this place will be our grave. Nicky told her.
Ill do my best sir. The pilot replyed.
Nicky turned around and took a seat in the small lifeboat.
He looked around and saw the other 2 spartans sitting relaxed like it was just a normal car ride, but this car could ride straight to hell.
But after looking death in the eyes so many times it just dint affect them anymore.
But Nicky had a feeling that this time it would be different.
It was like he knew that not all of them would make it off this ring world alive.
Lz in sight hang on this gonna be a rough landing. The pilot yelled over the com.
U heard the lady brace for impact. Nicky told the spartans.
The relaxed posture changed to a more serious one but still no fear in the spartans eyes...
The ground came closer at a high velocity....they where going way to fast.
Nicky woke up and saw that he was out of the life pod and in a cave.
He looked around and he saw Dion and bakura.
What happind? He asked.
We came in to fast according to my mission clock we where unconscious for 3 hours.
And the pilot?Nicky asked.
Did she survive?.
No she did not survive when i woke up i draged u and bakura in this cave.
Nicky reached for his MA5B only to see it was cracked and the display was broken to.
Great no assault rifle, we need to find weapons and ammo and the rest of the crew of the autumn.
I had contact with Wesley the ODST`s A.I they will be taking a butt from the covenant not to far from here.
We can head over tomorrow we need to rest get some sleep and be alert for the rough days ahead i have a feeling that we need to be at the best of our game.

Nicky woke up at the sound of heavy footsteps.
He went out of the cave and saw that it was morning.
And then he saw 2 hunters on patrol.
Nicky went back inside and woke up the others.
Wake up guys hunters outside the cave.
I will hold them off u guys go. Bakura told the other Spartans.
No we are all going to make it. Nicky told him.
Look im dying anyway look at my wound. He pulled up his shirt to show that he was almost cut in half by that hunters shot.
I sealed it up but its not holding just run.
It´s been an honor serving with u bakura. Nicky told him and saluted.
Bakura saluted back and started to run toward the hunters.
Nicky saw a glimps of C4 explosives in his backpack.
FIRE IN THE HOLE. Bakura yelled.
He and the hunters that saw him to late were turned in a big ball of flames.
Damned covenant bastards they will pay for this big time even if it kills me I will take them down. Nicky told himself.
Ok dion let´s go we have a long way to go to alpha base and... wait whats that? He pointed to a blue orb that was coming in fast.



Chapter sixteen

Chapter Seventeen

5 Grunts and 1 elite a scout party to see if we got some defenses up. Dion replyed.
Ok take up defensive position behind the enemy, on my mark shoot on sight. Nicky ordered.

Nicky took his new MA5B assault rifle putted a fresh clip in the rifle and took aim.
Dion´s light blinked meaning that he was in position.
He saw the scout party they where at ease, nice relaxed targets.

The elite went down by Dion´s sniper and the grunts followed the only sound where 5 puffs from Nicky´s silenced assault rifle.
We need to move w have fifteen minutes to get back to base and report back to Silva. Nicky told dion over the com.

A minute passed and dion came out of nowhere.

Chapter eightteen.
2552 mission timer +30:00 hours
unknown system halo ring.

Nicky finally woke up.
He looked around, he wasn't in the pelican anymore.
U Finaly awake? Dion asked.
Yea, where are we? Nicky asked.
Captured by the covenant no idea why i never thought they would capture us. Dion looked ahead trying to find a way out of the cell.
Great now we cant report back to Silva and find out what that thing was.
I think i found a way out of here. Dion whispered.
How? Nicky asked.
When a guard comes to get u to interrogate u like they did with me we can take him down and escape.

He looked up and saw that the second elite was dead to and dion wielding a rifle to.

If this ship is like the others the launch bay inst far. Nicky hoped.
Grunts watch out. Dion told him.
Wait don't shoot them if we shoot the covenant know we escaped better stay low. Nicky told Dion.

Then he saw an elite, he ran and tackled him breaking the elites leg.
He took him at his head and cracked his back on his knee.
The elite died instantly without making a sound.
The door hissed open and revealed the launch bay.
He saw a empty banshee.
Dions light went on meaning that he was overloading the engines.
Better hurry up. Nicky thought.
He ran jumped down a level without a sound and breaking his legs.
He took a look around 4 hunters 5 elites 20 grunts and 10 jackals.
No good ods he thought.
The ship shook and the covenant moved towards the exits and engine room trying to find out what happind.
Nicky jumped a level down again and looked around he only saw an emty room.
He ran towards the banshee and started to fly out this ship.
Then he thought about the shield.
Shit it´s still up.
Another explosion closer this time.
Better hurry its to hot in here the engines are going to blow any second now.
That last explosion made a hole in the shield.
Nicky went as fast as the banshee could and left the ship.

Chapter nineteen
2552 +32:00 hours
unknows system halo ring.

There it is the pelican.
Nicky made his way to the snowy canyon agian to locate his pelican.
He landed the banshee next to the pelican and left it.
The radio works, nice. Nicky thought.
Major silva this is Nicky please respond.
This is silva where the hell have u been, napping? Silva sounded angry.
The covenant shot us down and captured us sir i escaped but Dion was wounded he stayed behind and destroyed the ship we were on.
How did he do that? Silva asked.
He overloaded the engines the ship exploded.
So that was the fireworks we saw up in the sky.
I´m going to find out what that thing is thats using all that power.

He went outside the pelican and started the banshee agian moving closer to the signal.
After some time he saw a building and a lot of covenant trying to enter it.
Nicky landed his banshee at a safe place and took his sniper and rocked lancher he took out of the pelican.
They were all clusterd together.
He shoulderd his rocked lancher and aimed for the center of the covenant army and fired.
Most of them died in the explosion but some elites and grunts remained confiused about what happind.
Nicky droped the rocket lancher and took his sniper taking them out one by one.
When he was dome he was out of ammy for his sniper and went back to his banshee to take his MA5B assault rifle.
He was at the huge door it was almost 5 meters tall, he took a look around and saw a slot to open the door.
A blue orb came at him.

343 sended a blue spart to the place where the key needed to be and the door opend.
Nicky went inside rifle in his hand.
The hall was huge 20 meters high at least o wonder it was in a mountan.
There was a platform in the middle of the room and some holopads around it.
Nicky went to the platform and as soon as he did the holopads activated strange thing was nicky could read it all.
Looks like it is a teleporter, o no it´s not possible i gotta radio silva about this.
He ran to the exit but was stopped by some strange things.
They looked like mutilated humans and elites they smelled bad to, like they where rotting corpses.
He started to shoot they all dropped down.
I only have one choice i have got to destroy this place but first use it to get out save.
This place can teleport me back to earth,but if the covenant or those rotting corpses activate it earth will be destroyed.
He looked inside his backpack that he recovered from the pelican.
Hmm there is c5 in here to blow this mountain to peaces.
He placed it around the place with a 20 minute timer.
He stepped on the platform and looked around to power the teleporter and leave this ring.
It was glowing and powering up.
He saw a bright dark-blue light and left the ring just before the room exploded and took the mountain with it, but it had an effect he never saw coming.


Chapter twenty
2552 unknown time/date
unknown location planet earth

I´m back but where on earth am i? Nicky thought.
He opened a channel on the radio.

Chapter twentyone

Orbital Mac gun platform in earth´s orbit.

A alarm sounded and nicky woke up.
He went outside his room and saw Marines and ODST´s running getting weapons.

The covenant are attacking the mac platforms sir i suggest u get to the armory and gear up sir.

After 10 minutes of running they arived at the armory.

Nicky went inside the armory and saw alocker with his name on it.
He opend it and what he saw he never expected.
He opend a com chanel to lord hood.
Sir is that suit in the right locker sir? Nicky asked.

He went back to his locker and started to put the suit on, it looked heavy but it was light as a feather.
He shoved his helmet on and saw the mjolnir armor checking his vitals and condition of the armor.
Of course it all checked out the suit was brand new.
He looked around for a gun and found a new weapon in his locker.
A battle rifle, he took it and attached it on his back for later, he took all the clips in the locker for the rifle and started to run out the armory and toward the sounds of explosions and fighting.

Chapter twenty two
2552 10 November 1450 hours
Orbital Mac gun platform in earth´s orbit.

Nicky looked around, he saw grunts and elites.
He ran towards them kicked a grunt right in the head and he flew against the elite.
It´s shield flashed and the elite fell to the ground.
Nicky shoulder his battle rifle and shot at the elite, a 3-shot burst hitted the elite in his head 2 shots against his shield and the third finally penetrated his head, the elite shook then stopped and died.
He turned around and shot five 3-shot bursts and five grunts fell to the floor.
They he felt a burn in his back and saw his shield meter drop a quarter.
He jumped behind a pillar and looked around.
He saw 5 elites shooting at his cover.
He saw glass next to them and saw that it was close to breaking.
He took a grenade and threw it at the window.
Just before it exploded he opened a com to lord hood.
Sir close blast doors in my sector the hull will be breached.
As u wish chief good luck.
The grenade exploded and the window broke the blast door closed faster then nicky expected and the force of venting atmosphere was stronger then he thought they all got sucked out of the MAC gun platform.
He shot until his clip was empty and only 1 elite was left aiming at nicky.
He knew there was no time to reload so he threw his weapon at the elite and used the mac gun as a propelling force to punch the elite.
But it evaded his attack and kicked in the chest.
He pulled the elite with him into the blackness.
When they where fighting nicky noticed that one of the Mac platforms exploded.
Nicky grabbed the elite and broke its back with his knee.
The second platform exploded but there was nothing nicky could do he dint have a thruster pack and was floating out of course.
Need a lift? A voice asked.
Yea I could use a ride. He replyed.
The ship in amberclad was closing in and slowing down.
Nicky grabbed on to it and activated his boot magnets and stepped inside.
A covenant cruiser exploded and something hit the hull of the ship.
Crew get ready we are going to take this fight to the surface.
Nicky reloaded his battle rifle and went to the pelican bay.

Chapter twenty three
2552 10 November 1550 hours
Aboard UNSC in amberclad heading towars new mombosa.

The plating wont hold HANG ON.
The ship was hit in battle and the section nicky was in was closed off.
The plating would never hold it was breaking.
An explosion blew the titanium-A plating apart and nicky got blown out of the ship.
Shit he thought, haven't even been a spartan II for a day and already im going to die.
The ground was closing in fast.
The streets of new Mombasa came clear and he saw the destruction.
No I wont let it end like this.
He checked out his suit and found out that he could get the gellayer to take most of the fall.
He set it to maximum and braced for impact.
He felt pain like never before his shield was down and he was still slipping on the streets.
When nicky woke up he saw his shield was back up agian, he stood up and looked around.
He opend a com, This is spartan nicky can anyone hear me? Over.
This is marine team delta we read u, we thought u died when u where blow out of the ship.

But he also lost his ammo belt in the fall so he only had one clip left.
He was closing in to the marines position he heard plasma rifles and some new weapons.
He looked around the corner and saw a small covenant force 5 elites and 20 grunts.
But the elites had new weapons.
He got up the weapon profiles of the covenant and saw they where called carbines.
He took aim at one of the eiltes and shot one three shot burst.
Two shots agians the shield one penetrated his heads armor plating, the elite droped like a stone.
He checked his belt and saw he had one grenade left, he armed his and trew it in the middle of the covenant forces.
When it detonated half the grunts died and two of the elites shield where down.
The marines finished them off.
Nicky opend a com to the marines.
Hold your fire soldiers im comming in from the east.

He ran inside the house the marines where hiding in.
One of them ran towards the chief.

Covenant scarab is being taken care of as we speak our orders are to head back to in amberclad.

Nicky saw a green beam heading towards him and sidesteped just before it hit.
He leveld his battle rifle and started to shoot at an exposed peace of skin.
He emptyed his clip and the hunter droped dead.
The other hunter yelled and charged at nicky.
He saw it to late and was hit by the hunter, he fell to the ground a quarter of his shield was drained.
The hunter raised his foot ready to flaten nicky under his boot...




Chapter twenty four
2552 10 november 1630 hours
New mombosa.

Would this be the end?
A loud bang his shield drained and was down.
He looked and was the hunter was blown in half.
He saw a marine with a rocked lancher standing next to a pelican dropship.
U ok chief? He yelled.

He stood and looked around the covenant forces where dead, he headed for the dropship and entered it.
Lets move now.
The covenant cruiser is leaving let´s get to in amberclad.
The blast door closed and the pelican started to move faster then any pelican would go.
Detecting slipspace jump. The cruiser is going to jump inside the city.
HURRY UP GET TO IN AMBERCLAD OR ELSE WE ARE DEAD. The marine shouted.
Docking now dont worry we arent going to die here.
The last thing nicky saw when he exited the pelican was a bright light.

Chapter twenty five
2552 10 november time error
Unknown place.

He finaly opend his eyes agian.
Man i thought i died back there.

He and the marine left the room took aim and saw that the flood alreay made it to the bridge.
We need to run to the pelican bay kill everyone we see.
Lets run now.
He saw flood spores comming out of the bridge to many to handle.
RUN like hell is chasing u marine.

They kept running till they made it to the pelican bay.
The ship was cleaned inside and out from all human forces the flood where on the bridge.

On the surfice she and the sarge where going to get the index that activates the ring, to stop the covenant from getting it.

They enterd a pelican and fired the engines.

He ran back in the cockpit and started his descend to the second halo ring.


Chapter twenty six
2552 time/date error
Delta HALO

The mountans and rivers of HALO came closer at a alarming rate.
Nicky needed to pull up or die here.
No way i came to far to die here. He thought.
The pelican was damidged on takeoff a flood combat form tried to destroy it with a rocket launcher but only got the left tail engine.
Nicky opend a com chanel to every UNSC force in the region.
This is spartan nicky to any UNSC force can anyone hear me? Over.

In a pelican heading for a hard landing give me your coordinates i will get to your position asap.
The engine exploded and the pelican started to turn out of control.

The pelican was stable agian but still decending fast he would never make it to the control room it was at least 20 kilometers away.
The pelican was only 3 kilometers away from hitting the ground, nicky ran out of the cockpit pushed his shield above the maximum and jumped out.
He fell in a river like a torpedo droped from a bomber.
He kept sinking deeper and deeper in the lake`s of HALO.
He was uncountious but something grabbed him and pulled him down untill he was out of the water but un the tenticals of the bigest flood form nicky would ever see.


Chapter twenty seven
2552 time/date error
Under the delta halo library.

The chief slowly woke up but was pulled up by a tenical and came face to face with something you can´t describe.

When he looked around he saw that he was at a large structure but the enterance was blasted open by a scarab that was standing next to it.

They where hovering a meter above ground taking heavy fire.

Nicky jumped out first took aim at the grunts that where trying to shoot them.

He sliced off a brutes arm and then it´s head.
The other two where furius about it.
One charged right at nicky before he could see him.
Nicky was hit in his chest by the masive brute and his sword fell on the ground, he got out his MA5C and started shooting the brute.

The last one trew away his weapons and started to run at nicky with rage.
